We should recognize that the vast majority of individual bloggers invest limited effort in maintaining their websites and also lack much related knowledge. Among them are students, non-professionals, and people from different regions and professions. They gather in the blogosphere mainly to exchange ideas, share experiences, and create a relaxed and mutually supportive atmosphere.
However, the three types of people mentioned above often undermine this environment and pose an ongoing threat to the maintenance of blogs. Some add fuel to the fire, for example, they keep running speed tests on someone else’s site even when it is under attack, frequently using testing tools—this is very disturbing for bloggers who only want friendly communication. Some are adept at confusing right and wrong, disguising themselves with hypocritical words and playing a ridiculous “middleman” role. Others meddle in everything and deliberately stir up disputes, without caring whether the issue has anything to do with them at all.
Based on these phenomena, I offer the following suggestions for open communities:
